Ilstof Skyforest

Perched high in central Eryndral, once central Africa, the Ilstof Skyforests are a breathtaking expanse of towering acacia trees, their gnarled branches interwoven with thick vines and glowing gold moss, forming a labyrinthine network of treetop pathways beneath a canopy that filters dappled sunlight into a soft, ethereal glow. The Ilstof, 5–6-foot-tall bird-kin mutated from avian survivors, thrive in these heights, weaving intricate nests of twigs, feathers, and vines among the treetops, their aerial lifestyle a testament to their grace and resilience. Glowing blue crystalline shards, fragments of the Katka Heart, are scattered across the forest floor and embedded in tree trunks, casting an ethereal glow through the canopy, a haunting reminder of the cataclysm that fractured Eryndral. Subtle hints of the Ilstof linger—bird-like claw marks scar the bark, a faint silhouette glides between branches, and a nest with glowing feathers hangs from a high perch.
