Lapiti Woodlands

Nestled in the former Australian Outback of Eryndral, the Lapiti Woodlands are a dense, wild forest where towering eucalyptus trees rise, their silvery bark peeling and branches draped with thick vines and glowing gold moss, forming a canopy that filters faint, dappled sunlight into a shadowy glow. The forest floor, scarred with cracked, blackened earth, is littered with fallen leaves, patches of resilient undergrowth, and the skeletal remains of small creatures, reflecting the harsh conditions of a post-apocalyptic world. Glowing blue crystalline shards, fragments of the Katka Heart, are scattered across the landscape, some embedded in tree trunks and the ground, casting an ethereal glow through the murky shadows, a haunting echo of the cataclysm that fractured Eryndral. Subtle hints of the jackrabbit-kin Lapiti linger—rabbit-like paw prints mark the dirt, and a makeshift burrow entrance, adorned with a carved wooden marker, nestles beneath a tree. Above, a stormy gray sky, streaked with silver lightning, casts a dramatic light over the woodlands, illuminating a realm of wild survival in Eryndral’s shattered world.
