The Sarenes Savanna in Eryndral stretches as a vast, open expanse of cracked, blackened earth, where patches of resilient golden grasses sway in the wind, dotted with scattered acacia trees that stand defiant under a stormy sky. In the distance, the Rares’ homes—elegant, dome-shaped huts of woven grasses and salvaged metal—cluster together, reflecting their communal spirit. Nearby, a grand coliseum rises, its ancient stone walls weathered by time, topped with a domed roof supported by rusted metal rafters, partially collapsed to reveal the interior, a remnant of the Rares’ past gatherings. Glowing blue crystalline shards, fragments of the Katka Heart, are scattered across the landscape, some embedded in the ground and coliseum walls, casting an ethereal glow that pierces the twilight, a haunting echo of the cataclysm that fractured Eryndral.
